Default Update

Sorry for the delay in my message, a lot of things have happened since my last post. I am no longer at Stevens. I was medically disqualified because my stress test was not within the last 12 months. It was 13 months so i was just outside their window. A lot of things other posters have said about Stevens are true and some are not. Some make it through and some don't. I am now back home and still have intentions of driving again but it will not be with Stevens, Fortunately i got out before it got expensive for me. If i would have made it it would have cost me 4995 for the training and 593.00 for the hotel and additional food expense money. yours will be different depending on how long you will be there and if they paid for your bus fare. you will be paying that amount back at 25.00 a week until its paid and you will be paying a 100 a month in tuition back for the first year so basically you will be paying 1200 in tuition and Stevens will pay the rest. I honestly believe i got a raw deal and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I also said that i would be honest with my experience and i would say that if you could go somewhere else then do it. If you can't then do your time and go to another company. I am going to take a refresher course and leave the CDL mils behind.

To Henry my roommate i hope you make it and do good things for your family and it was an honor to have you as my roommate and friend.

To the rest if you want to know more just pm me.

John.

DR. was it not told to Stevens or not noted on long form physical! Im not givin ahard time im just trying to figure out what these companies are triying to do, they spend a fortune and end up wasting 90% of the fortune! Any idea where you are headed next? All in All how did Stevens appear to you! THANKS JOE!

I did, I even showed the doctor who by the way works at stevens the paperwork and he said its company policy to have the test within a 12 month period but the independent doctor i seen prior to leaving gave me a clean bill and issued me a medical card.

Well i am going to try going to a refresher course at a local school and apply with us xpress. So wish me luck. when i get to that point i should only have to go out with a trainer then get a truck not the dumb and dumber like with stevens. I will start a new thread when i start the process with us xpress.

OK i will hopefully starting school Feb 11. us xpress is out because they don't have any freight in this area. when i start school i will be starting a new thread titled a new beginning. I am going to do this for the ones who in the future are going to attend a driving school. I will document the training all the way to receiving my truck and first year as a solo driver. Wish me the best a for all of you who have already made it i wish you the best and i hope to see you out on the big road.
