Alot of your major carriers will send out job postings and try to hire current drivers as dispatchers.I know at Maverick several of the fleet managers have driven for Maverick for several years before moving over to fleet manager.

Hey, its been a few months and thought I would check in to see what you have found out? Are there a lot of fleet/driver manager dispatch positions out there? On an average what are they paying? Do they like or dislike the fact that you have driving experiance? Did you accept a position, if so what are the pros and cons?????
