Look at Tandem. If you live in the right area you'll be home every weekend. They haul a lot of building matterial but I donn't think they tarp as much as most. And they have an awsome terminal! I was going to work for them but I Got burned out on the flat bed life.

Just to let ya' know PGT isn't taking on newbies right now. I wasn't sure if the rule was still in effect, but I talked to my trainer recently and he said that he that it was.

Right now they're only taking drivers with 6 months flatbed exp.

Yep...forgot about that...but after a re-vamp I've been told the newbie training program may be back around October or somewhere near that time.

That doesn't surprise me. When I talked to my trainer he said he was surprised that that "ban" was still in effect and didn't expect it to last a whole lot longer.

DaveP, I am from Dothan, Al. I am very interested in PGT, talked with recruiter, ect. Would like to hear from company driver. Any info is appreciated, Runner123.
