Thanks for the response, Skywalker!

I'm not particularly interested in pulling refer.

I am interested in tanker, mostly food-grade, or general commodities/van which is what I did in the past. You and Carlo got me interested in tankers, though.

I just want to drive with a legal company, on a legal road, in legal equipment. When I have 2-hours left to legally drive, I don't want to hear "we have a hot load that you HAVE to take from Los Angeles to NYC and get there by yesterday".

Thanks again!
Mike

Instead of posting a new thread I awake this old one. Anyone knows some current info about LCT? Their requirements says nothing about prior experience and the application seems to be open. I am trying to find out who else hires drivers with no experience around SE Florida.

Thanks!

I am not positive but I think LCT is owned by Gainey Corp. here in Grand Rapids. Gainey has been in the news around here for the last few months over their financial trouble. You may want to look into that a little before you go too far. Good Luck. Steve

Yes they are, they picked them up in like '95-'97 area. Gainey was a good company to work for back then, I have talked to a few LCT drivers and their only complaint was lack of miles..
