If you want to be away from home all of the time and have crappy benefits, retirement, vacation and sick time, then OTR is for you. Not to mention most OTR companies level off on pay after a few years. At least UPS will always be competitive with pay and benefits. Stick it our at UPS and you'll be glad you did.

The funny thing is most OTR guys want to get on with a LTL carrier like where you work. You want to do the opposite.

1. What is a weekly check on percentage pay on the low end

2. Weekly check on the high end on percentage pay?

3. Average weekly check on percentage pay?

4. Home time? What time home on Friday and what time do you leave out? Monday or Sunday night?

5. Percentage pay is the way to go instead of mileage pay corect?

Thank you for your help and support and drive safe!

Did you fall down and bump your head or what? trust me, I did OTR flatbed. Very long days and sleeping in a truck, no thanks.

Don't get me wrong I am not one of the whiney drivers that are always complaining about something. I am not afraid to work and I always go the extra mile. The UPS Freight division is totally different from the UPS package division. We are the lower paid drivers than the package division and we are not Union. I am ranging from $750 -$960 a week dependsif I get any overtime or not? I just need to make more money right now for me and my family. I do appreciate your comments
If you want more money then transfer to the road, easiest job I ever had. What your family needs is you at home.
