Fred, they are better then they were in the past. All in all a good company to work for and you can make good money. Try to get into fuel oil as this is easier, and most of the time a single drop. I know that they have won safety awards and trucking events for most outstanding company or something like that. They also have choices for shifts, night, day, etc... They are also starting to buy alot more 379's and W900's. Good benifits, pay and overtime, uniforms, vacation, etc...

379's and the w900's ars O/O.......i believe................... :wink:

ive spoken to two drivers(one has been there for 8 yrs.....the other 5yrs...............let's see.......top rate is 22.50 or23.50 per/hr

time and a half over 40..it's union............
you will start on nights and weekends.....pending the terminal you work out of.........one driver i spoke with (8 yrs) became an O/O.he has weekends off
the other starts around 2a.m. or 3 and puts in 12-14hrs a day......he had said on that monday he put in 18hrs!!!!(log book i asked?......he just smiled

I did not know they did the O/O thing. I knew ITC did. I would see their tanks with beat up trucks pulling them. I called them, and yes, they do hire O/O's.

I seen there trucks up at englishtown nj for the diesel truckin. Nice clean trucks thats really all i can tell ya. I see them alot on rt295 in S.Jersey. Hey fred they do have some MACKS you going to be able to handle them.lol You think you made money on % at tmc. Getting paid by the HR. is the only way to go.

Good luck getting your Hazmat! Not sure how long it takes to get through the background and fingerprint stuff in NY, but in some states it can take as long as 3 months.

Mine took about 3 weeks too. But I've seen other guys at my barn take 6-8+ so its better to do it ASAP.
