With the little inverters you can charge the batteries but not run your computer and charge at the same time, at least I couldnt. I ended up taking it inside the truck stop and plugging it in while I ate.

I also use IdleAire once in a while, and I use their 110 outlet to run and charge at the same time.

I think a larger hard wired inverter might solve the problem. My laptop wants to see 14.4 volts and I think that is the problem.....

Maddii'swife, I have a Vector inverter that I bought from Wal-Mart. I use it for my laptop, and also my cell phone charger. You plug it into the cigarette lighter.

Thats what I wanted to hear He was just thinking that the smaller plug in ones wouldn't be enough to charge it.
