I drove OTR for JB 1 year ago. I am a very disgruntal OTR driver.
That being said, if your happy with the pay, and 2200 miles / week is good for you, then you will like it. Every driver I have talk to who was on a dedicated account liked their job, and the account they were on.
If they tell you at orientation that they need you to go OTR, walk out. If they keep their word, and give you this account, you should do good. I have seen drivers who got to orientation thinking that they are getting a dedicated account, just to be told that they would have to go OTR.
DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.
Good luck. You were warned. Let us know what happens either way.
