I should've been in Birmingham for orientation but for some reason they canceled it down there the week I was going. It was wait a week or go to Monaca, PA. So I went to Monaca, PA.

I'm not out of any terminal yet. I just ended my second week of training. After next week (if everything goes well) I should have my own truck and I will be out of the Centersville, MI terminal. That's were they put all the southern newbies out of. Or so I'm told.

They won't let you take into Pittsburgh, though. Which kinda sucked because a few of us wanted to see a Pirates game.
BCT runs a bus to Pittsburgh. Ask for a bus schedule.

That was two weeks ago. And nobody thought it was worth a bus ride. Since most of the guys there were from down south and had at least 14 hours on a bus just to get up there.

Hey there Trucker254...

From your post I think it was you I ran a few miles with and chatted on the cb for a bit a couple months back...

Still enjoying better hometime I see.

*To the guy from Huntsville.

Howdy neighbor.

At least temporarily (for whatever reason) B'ham is not doing any training, but are doing orientations.

And last week I ran everywhere from Steele, Al. (drop from Pittsburgh then reload) to West Palm Beach to, VA to NC then over the weekend to a Monday drop in Albert Lea, MN then proceeded to deadhead down to Hennipen, IL to St. Louis. Then to Granite City,IL with a load to Decatur, AL then over to Florence (home), where I sit with about $4200 revenue and a "dead" logbook AND it's only Thursday...

A great week and a half.

Yes...I feel I made a good choice in going with PGT.

I've never met him personally. Actually I'd never been to Monaca until about 2 weeks ago when I picked up a load for Steele, AL.

Probably Mike Olsen will be doing your orientation. Tell him Dave Patterson out of B'ham said Hi.

Good luck to you and if you see #20615 on the road just give me a shout.
