Question for the UPS guys, what division are you in? I know the UPS drivers (feeder's) around Ohio sure don't make that much. There top scale is .54cpm and I think $23.00, which is just a little bit more than Roadway and Yellows top scale.

Our pay is equal to union scale for LTL and we have a fully funded strong pension along with a 50% match on 401k. I am sure we will be teamsters soon though. At .5415/mile that's equal to $32 per hour running 60 miles per hour. Stops make or break you depending on how long they take. First year road drivers easily make well over 50k. After three years its 70-90k. Depends on the run you can bid. As good as UPS? Close but not quite. Red headed step child? Thanks "brother". I hope when I'm a teamster I remember where I came from. :roll:

I thought this was about who we work for and why...not how much we make. I make more than a LOT of people that posted here (Rev included :lol: ), but that doesn't make me any better.

Ironically, he will ultimately win now that UPS has bought us. Teamsters are negotiating a contract for us as we speak, something from scratch for UPS, not NMFA. Then we vote.

I only do it for the money. If it will take me 30 mins or so.. Why not make some extra money. If it's a full load, with massive pallet break downs, then hell no. I'll let the co pay for a lumper while I get my shut eye.
