Wilmer, next to Marietta, is the worst terminal in the Crete system to try to get work done and done right. Lincoln will tell you that they redo more Wilmer work than just about anybody else. Agree wholeheartedly on Council Bluffs. Every time I stop there for fuel they always come out and ask me if I need anything done.

Nah, did my growing up in Michigan. Married A Mariemont girl, class of 78'. Withrow is pretty messed up now. Not as bad as some but pretty bad.

Well today was day 1. Went in and was sent straightaway to take a physical and pee test. Passed the physical and awaiting the pee test results, but I am not worried.

Then we turned in my rental car and that was it for the day. The V.P. of Operations is here on a visit and the staff was pretty tied up with his needs.

Very nice guy, made a point of coming out of a meeting to welcome me to the Crete Family.

Tomorrow is the driving test and then the videos start until the results are in from my drug screening......

My truck is here and is being detailed in the morning. I will let ya know what condition it is in after I actually sit in it.

Day 2. More paperwork, videos and my road test with the terminal safety guy, Wayne Cheeseman.

Got back and was told that there was a change of plans and I was not getting a truck here in Phoenix. Instead I am getting another rental car tomorrow and heading to Bakersfield. Apparantly there is a truck sitting in the Freightliner dealer there for 3 weeks worth of repairs and it is ready to go. So I am going to pick up that truck and head to Lincoln Nebraska for orientation part II.

It will probably all change overnight, so I will give ya an update then.

Well I was home for the night. I did in deed get a rental car and am halfways to Bakersfield to pickup that repaired truck that needs to go to Lincoln Nebraska and be replaced with a new one. Whether or not I get the new truck remains to be seen.

On the Crete website listing their outlets, there is something listed called "physical" I think that might mean a weight room, I am not %100 sure on that, as I do not drive for them,,,,,yet.
