hey that's just simple courtesy. Stay off the dang grass. But fired on the spot seems a little harsh. perhaps a simple flogging would be in order, but termination? Does that go on his DAC? is so what would it say?

Terminated for failure to maintain proper side walk policy and not adhering to company lawn care procedures.

i just started flatbed about four weeks ago and as an owner op i got about a 40 cent a mile raise ou normally get home more with flatbed and i love the exersize of tarping it gets me out of the truckand seems to break up the day and make it go faster plus a lot of recievers just give you a load or delivery window that rocks. even after only 3 weeks i am starting to feel more comfortable but you dont want to get to comfy that is when the bad stuff starts to happen

pulling flatbeds do you have as much strange delivery times in the middle of the night and stuff like that? I'm sure it deos happen but a lot of the stuff i can think of off the top of my head seems very 9-5.

oh, nevermind.i didnt know i can just quit in 3 months. maybe ill do it that way for a while.my co worker had to put in an extra year here before he went to interstate because he only stayed on 2 jobs for a year each.they saw he hacked it for another year and he still wanted the job so they took a chance. they would probably hire you right away and make sure you go home right away

here is the thing. I tried it before and there was one aspect i couldn't deal with. Driving for TMC seems to seriously cut back on that one aspect. If i get to it and STILL can't hack it, then i'm done and the good lord chose for me to do something else other than drive a truck. Not going to spend the next 20 years of my life working at a place for 3 months until i hate it then move on.

In short...the next chance is the last chance. Not because they won't hire me anymore but because it's not sometihng i would pursue.

i dont know about that tmc, i havent been back east for a while.hope you get on and it works out.im thinking about quitting this job i started in 97 and get back out there.i take these matters very seriously.no where is perfect.there are serious bad times everywhere and moments that are spectacular. if i hate the next job i will make every effort to stay one year.when you give 2 weeks notice to a trucking co that is a job that is always available.good luck to you
