joplin is, the last time i saw the houston yard it just had a blue fence around it. didnt see any buildings. but i didnt look hard either. and what about this dallas terminal? "someone" (not a driver) in joplin told me the other day that we already had the land and are getting ready to build. supposedly will have fm's and shop there. they are supposed to use it as a training facility also.

Yeah I guess they need to take the pressure off Des Moines. Never been to Joplin.

Never been to Joplin?!!! I practically lived at the Joplin yard. It's right down the service road from the Petro, next to the KOA. They had a fairly good office space and occasionally free food. Upstairs from the shop are showers and sleeping quarters. Not too bad for a yard, but certainly not as nice as Des Moines.

My usual policy is to avoid the non-DSM terminals. My only experience is the ghetto we all know as Indy. Sounds like I might have to open my mind and check it out!

indy....ugh. the only one i havent been to is columbia. but i hear that im not missing much.

Columbia was where I did orientation. You ain't missing a thing if it is in the same place.
