Before you head for Houston ask your Recruiter about the WABI. He/She should help you a bit with some trick questions they ask.

damn-I had less than one week to get it all together and fly to Houston.

Some more "Stuff" for you-I already told you about how long you'd be in Houston but when you fly out of Houston that's when the Time Clock Starts. You'll probably fly into Amsterdam for a short layover and then fly from there into Kuwait where you'll probably be for a week or so.
Then you'll fly into Baghdad International Airport(BIAP) and sit there for a day or so and then you'll Probably fly into Camp Anaconda(Camp Mortarittaville).

You'll then take what's called a DDC8 course which is what to do when ambushed, dealing with IED's hitting your convoy, and evasive actions. Class is about another week lol

One of the most important classes is Escape and Evasion course which is put on by Special Forces Guys who Know what's going on when captured more than anybody in Iraq.

Listen to every word spoken and ask questions if you don't understand things. Peoples lives are at stake every day you go outside the "Wire"
There's a TON of stuff you'll learn by Observation and you'll hear guys in your convoy talking over your Motorola Radio(Each driver is issued one) about things "Out of Place" that don't belong.

I'd tell you some of these things over the phone but UK is kinda out of reach for my phone :P

Ask your buds when you get there how to make a MRE Bomb :P

Not gonna talk much about all the Immunization shots you're gonna get but your gonna feel like a pin cushion after they're done plus you have to get Booster shots for all of them later lol

You're probably gonna get the "Creeping Crud" but Medics will have pills for that.
