Independent Contractor? Any Thoughts?

I'm curious as to why an IC would have to pay workman's comp. I never had to before. I suppose if I had employees I'd have to carry it, but it's just me.

Your fuel surcharge was 34 CPM? And that was in addition to the .50 (give or take a bit) per mile delivery pay?

Workmans' Comp requirements vary from state to state. In Georgia, it's not required until you hit 4 employees.
