My husband is fueling in Oklahoma City as we speak on his way to Dallas. They moved his drop time to 1pm tomorrow (not sure why as he could have made the 7 am drop). After he drops in Dallas, he's picking up in Fort Worth to take to Plainview, in the Texas panhandle, then depending on time will either be sent back here, or back to Rockwall to swap a load from Plainview. For the most part I am glad for the extra miles (and extra time to finish cleaning house before he's home!) as they will help us financially right now.

I am glad that they are over the worst of it. I hope you do not get them!

Sounds like they are keeping him close to home. Is that a regional he does,or is it just that he happens to be around the area?

He came down from Iowa over the last 2 days. The only reason they're keeping him close right now is he comes in for hometime by tomorrow night so they couldn't put him back out very far today. As far as we know there's not a regional available for this area.

Oh,ok. Well,it is good that they are able to get him home. Hope it works out.

Come to think of it,I saw a TransAm truck on 82,night before last. I know that there are lots of TransAm trucks, but you dont see many out there on 82. Dont see hardly any trucks on 82 going to Lubbock, for that matter. :P

I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but only because he is new. A yr from now, I will stilll put my 3 paychks on it that he will do it. I wrestled with the same situations when I 1st started 3yrs ago, but you learn to make decsions, not always good ones but sometimes you have to satisfy ur self.

Once he learns the ropes, I beleive he would have dropped that load, with plenty of time to spare. Like I said b4, you have to do what ever it takes to get the job done, but be safe about it..

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking here. He has maxed his available 70 once, and come close to driving his 14 every day. If you meant miles we haven't yet gotten his first check on mileage which we will get on Monday (they send them out on Friday, but our bank doesn't get them until Monday). I will update more on how many miles he's gotten each time for a while.
He is home right now until Monday morning, got in here about 2 pm today! So I won't be on here very much

you say he's come close to driving his 14 every day? You do mean his 11 right, you can only drive 11 hours in a 14 hour period, anyway, probably just written wrong. Hopefully things are going better with TransAm, better things will come around.
