Before my wife and I split up I stopped wearing my third different wedding ring after about the 13th year of marriage! I got tired of having a mangled up piece of metal that cut off the circulation to my finger. The first one I had got smashed when I dropped a transmission from a dodge caravan on it. When I went to the ER to get the finger stitched up the doc was afraid of trying to cut off the ring so I had to do it a few weeks later when that finger was twice as fat as all the others!
It's just safer to not have ANY jewelry when you work on sh*t as much as I do. Did I mention my last job was a Plumber? That stuff gets in and on everything!

I was working next to another guy (back in the NAVY) when he lost his finger because of his wedding ring. So, for me, it depends what I'm working with whether I wear mine or not. Back when I pulled flats, I did not wear one. Now, pulling reefers, I generally don't do things that might cost me my finger, so I'm fine wearing one.

Before I started driving, when I worked with electricity, that little gold band is one of the very best conductors there is. Ring touching ground, and the finger touches a live circuit, and you can lose your finger just that quick. I would not wear mine at all, back then.

Nah, women have a very good ability to figure out who is wearing a wedding band due to actually being married and who isn't!!!

I was with my wife through cancer surgery and the follow up treatment. I also know how "whiny" women can be. I'll admit that it was no picnic for her. I know she went through HELL. ( The cure is worse than the ailment) But, if I didn't already know what she was going through, she did confirm it. So, men aren't the only ones.

I was constantly inquisitive and baffled why a few people shed pounds while having distressing occasions and another put on weight. I thought perhaps the trap is in digestion yet no. It's simply the one that gets in shape don't eat while having pressure. Perhaps you have a place with the second sort of individuals. You simply eat your pressure. In this way, rather than concentrating on all the hard impediments of your wedding readiness appreciate every minute. Set aside opportunity to see here. This procedure will include all your regard for the point that will disregard nourishment)

I always wear my wedding ring. I chose the material, while my wife picked the design.

My marriage lasted 7 years, 40 years ago, but I kept the ring, and it turns out to be, all for the best, at today's gold prices. ka-ching
