Very good point. A similar rule applies in every state, as far as I am aware of. Although a minor may be charged as though he/she is an adult, this can only be done in very serious felony cases.

I have recently read ads for some trucking companies that compensate team drivers according to their individual experience as well as the number of miles each drives. If such is the case with the job offer she claims they have accepted, ''he'' would earn 49 cpm for his miles, ''she'' would earn 33 cpm for hers. Assuming, arguendo, they each drive an equal number of miles, the total compensation paid by the company would be 41 cpm; not 82 cpm.... Which seems to be in the ballpark of what many carriers are paying.
I do, however, question why any carrier would be willing to pay a felon 49 cpm as a starting wage.
