I have a question maybe someone can help me with i was terminated for what the company said were log violations/falsification when i applied for unemployment the company contested me getting unemployment but the state sided with me and said it was an unjust termination and awarded me 388.00 wk in unemployment. Now heres the problem the company still listed on my dac log violations, company policy violations ( wich were the log violations) and stated on dac " would not rehire" can a company still put this info on your dac when the state ruled that it was an unjust termination? I'm having a hell of a time getting a good job because of the dac report filed by this company. Any advice would help thanks

If, and only IF you can prove they unjustly accused you of log violations, you might be able to get it removed from your DAC. You still have one problem, you have to list you past employer, which means when they get that paper asking the question if you have log violations, or safety violations, the company will still have a chance to list it without any reprocutions.

You can request a copy of your DAC report online, but it will be mailed to your physical address. Just click on the following link and request your report. HireRight Consumer And Driver Report Requests

Thats a good website. I filled out the online form recently and had mine in 2 weeks. The OP can send a letter contesting the employers false allegations, along with other documentation supporting the FACTS and they are required to reply in writing within 30 days. If they don't reply to DAC, then it's removed from your report.
