I will be finding out today if my CDL will be reinstated. My attorney doesn't
think it will be a problem, since that will enable to go back to work quicker, and start making payments again.

The court and the State agreed to reinstate my CDL so I can return to driving again, and then a new payment plan will be drawn up. So I should
be back to work here soon, and getting some money to my kids again.

Jeez, you guys really must have guilty conciences to get so worked up about a simple question. Maybe you shouldn't read between the lines so much. I never called anyone a deadbeat dad. Go back to school and learn to read.

My best friend lived with his fiance paid every bill in the house and provided for her so that she can/could go to school. He comes home early one day from the road and finds a guy hiding in his shower fresh from boning his lady. He leaves her (they have two children together). He pays her 1000.00 a month rent for her and the children. I think that was a fair deal considering he provides food, clothing, etc. She goes and puts him on child support for his kids going back 5yrs. even though they were living together. His license is suspended pending him paying back five years of back support/health care. I've learned from his situation.

Although I agree with the sentiment that one shouldn't risk his CDL over ANY situation, there are better ways of saying it.
