This is a power only lease requiring b/t and work/comp insurance $93 wk. pulling 53 vans avg. wght. 15,000. Tolls paid by company. Fuel card supplied, deducted from weekly settlement. Cleveland,oh. area to carlisle, pa and back so..yeah a few hills.

I appreciate the replies. I see dart ads for $1 a mile and hogan $1.15 in this area.I thought $ 1.48 for a nightly drop and hook (no wait) 600 mi. shuttle run (no deadhead)(home daily) $2200 wk.after fuel (based on 5 mpg. low est.) sounded tempting. Thanks for the replies.

I agree with what No worries said. It's definitely a bare minimum, yet it's a living. Just don't forget, from that $2,200 at least one third is not yours, it's belongs to the truck.

I don't think its enough.
Paying salary for myself, expenses and fuel, break even is at $1.53/mile. So this wouldn't even pay that. Who's paying the insurance and how much? What if any deductions do you have from that? IFTA? Plates? Etc. How about equipment replacement saving? |
