2006 387 MPG Results

Don't know about that. I'm geting a bit better mileage with my ACERT, than with old 3406E. 7mpg vs 6.7 mpg average, doing practically the same job in the same area. In a summer time, with the light loads, it's not uncommon to see 8-8.25 mpg for the round. (at the pump, not ECM)

That kind of mentality, put a lot of folks in trouble, "Run Forest, run!". Well, i'd rather put that difference in my pocket. 1 MPG is about $16,000 a year difference, and that's a clean cash!

When you drive fast, it seems like you're making money but you're not. Your revenue just increases by the amount you spend extra on fuel.
Revenue at slow speed: 10,000/mo Fuel: 3,000 Revenue at high speed: 12,000/mo Fuel: 5,000

Well, it doesn't really matter to me. Regardless of how fast i drive, my "miles" is not depend on it. I'm pretty much sure, it's the same for 99 out of 100 operators....Yes, once in a blue moon, when every minutes counts, i'll have to RUN! But that's just an exception. Of course, it's up to you, how you want to spend your money, i'd rather go on Caribbean, or Hawaii, than blowing it out of staks...
