Well i saved up a good chuck of change for winter so im sitting good. In the spring i may go into the roll off business as well. We will see.

I hit the wrong button, this damn smart phone is a PITA... it pays $4.75 a ton, the quarry (Vulcan Materials in Francessville, IN) is 25 miles from my drop (I haul to a local yard) and I can run 26ton (40ft MAC) with the Pete. If I still had my daycab Columbia I was able to squeeze almost 29 into it.

Holy cow, the columbia must not have an engine or the Petercar has 2 with a bulletproof sleeper:block: , thats quite a difference..

A frameless is less stable to dump but it is alot lighter.

The Pete was a double-frame with a 3406B and a 63" sleeper..... the Columbia was a daycab with a mercedes motor (PUKE)

I used to have to haul sand to a pit and dump with a 40' frameless. Trust me, 28t and a soft bottom is not fun to dump. Makes YOUR bottom water-tight LOL

so being new to hauling a dump isn't really that hard right?? just if you have a frameless dump just make sure its level and your on a hard surface?? also is it an advantage to having an spread axle dump??
