My 05 IH went thru 2 belts in 3yrs. Might be something with the ACERT set-up???
My 99 FLD still has the factory belts on it and are like brand new (they are the v-style tho) Also, try and get the Leece-Neville replacement alt for your engine. The Delco burns up quickly if you dont ground it from the post on the rear (not sure why it wasn't done at the factory) but when I took mine to the IH dealer, that was the 1st thing the mechanic did and it charged fine after that

IH puts Delco-Remy on from the factory, even my build sheet lists it........ I put a 200amp Leece-Neville on the truck after I burned up the second Remy, it charged perfect and didn't have any problems. It also had an internal regulator but was $335 at Kenworth
