Anymore tips to fueling and saving a few hundred bucks?
these are the same idiots who think if no one bought gas for one day, it would save 20years worth of gas, no, it would save ONE DAYS worth, but in the long run nothing because we would just use that gas on another day

question, if it takes 200 gallons of fuel to go from point A to point B, how does it save me anything buy buying 100 gallons twice instead of buying 200 gallons once? UNLESS, I can get some much cheaper down the road, so lets assume it's the same price along the entire route, now tell me how I save

moe there would be no difference, the density of the fuel only matters when fueling up. As the fuel heats up and cools down in the tanks on the truck, the amount of BTU's stays exactly the same, it's only the density that changes. For example if the fuel heated up enough to expand 1% from 100 gallons to 101 gallons, the density would reduce 1%, and the total BTU content would stay the same. Engines also compensate for this, as the engine would inject 1% more fuel, which is the same amount of BTU's.

Default hilarious.

Sometimes I don't know why people asks TRUCK drivers a question, becuase they will never give you a simple answer. They always have to say negative things about a person or situation, instead of saying yes or no.

THIS is what wrong with the INDUSTRY.. PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO ALWAYS HAVE NEGATIVE THINGS TO SAY...
With that said mayb I should have given you more details, but the more I think about it I dont care to know your answer. I will try it and if it saves me a few dollars on a short run then I will continue to do it. if not, then I will find another way to save a few bucks..
For those who gave constructive answers THANK YOU. For those who always have neagtive energy "KICK ROCKS".......

FYI, No such thing as CHEAP FUEL anymore, it all expensive........
