ITS is a cheap alternative to DAT / Transcore and way better than Getloaded.


Knocking on "Doors" is better. Use brokers to fill the gaps.

 

Everyone is trying to dig their hands in everything.You got 360 digging into DAT.You got membersedge digging into DAT and 123 digging into DAT.You even got truckersedge digging into DAT.They are all powered by the same loadboard.I lost my ITS and GL account a couple of months ago.I am just not happy with my membersedge account.The loads keep reposting itself when they have already been covered.

 

You can pretty much cover what you need with mymembersedge and Internettrucksop accounts. I was told that all of the DAT boards share the same information. Of course you can get a discount on mymembersedge if you are a member of OOIDA. Some people have more loadboards which they subscribe. Several of the larger brokers have their own loadboards that are free.

 

Those two are both offshoots of DAT. All the "load boards" have been digging into DAT business for years. As for the loads reposting...that has also been happening for years. That is because of all the double, triple and quadruple brokering of loads, then the cut rate trucks falling off those loads. Everybody wants to make money....without doing anything to earn that money.


How do you "lose" an ITS or Getloaded account?

 

Hush!I was sharing accounts until they changed passwords on me!
I still pay for membersedge and 123loadboard.I am an OOIDA member and I pay only 17/month.
I still like ITS.I meant REPOSTING as in the automatated function of the site.
For ex.... you see a load on 123 or memberedge and you have your search criteria set to only show loads within the last hour and nothing more.You keep watching the screen and after hitting the refresh screen on the last hour, that same load re-ppears as a brand new post.This makes you think the broker just reposted that same load again.Nada, the system is reposting it almost every 30 minutes within your "1 hr age".
If you call the broker, they never did resend it.ITS does not do that unless the broker actually reposts it.$17/month is not bad but this is what I have to deal with.The larger brokers do have sites as you mention but they cannot keep me busy.I might haul LS,CHR, Allen Lund,GTO 2000,PLS Logistics and MERCER once every 2weeks but that is it.I like ITS and GL is a rip off.

I dropped Getloaded when they had that big price increase earlier this year. I can't see paying that much more for what they have to offer when I can get the same thing for $10/month less elsewhere. I liked the format, but not with that much of a price hike. I have a good friend of mine who canceled his when they jumped up the rate. They added a few useless things which I or my friend would not use to justify the price increase. I think they lost a lot of business when they raised their price. Both of us have received calls from them to try and get us to come back but they didn't want to lower the price to what it was previously. We both declined. They need to consider lowering their rate instead of raising it. Internettruckstop does a pretty good job for less money. Between mymembersedge and internettruckstop I think that I can get what I need. I don't get many loads from load boards. I mostly use my personal contacts for much of what I have been hauling lately.

Trulos looks impressive but how do you run a serach criteria for like van, flat etc.?
