Part of downtown Chattanooga is actually in Georgia, although it has been considered Tennessee for well over a century. There is a plaque at the actual state line. Tennessee did a 99 year lease from Georgia over a century ago. It was renewed some years ago. There was some tension a couple of years ago about water rights when Georgia has such a bad drought. I don't think anything will come from it. Georgia is in a difficult situation since Florida has been taking water from them for some time, compliments of the Army Corp of Engineers. They want to save some fish or something that may be in danger of extinction. It is probably like the snaldarter in Tennessee. It was also supposed to be endangered. Come to find out there were millions of them. Our government at work. :roll:

Ditto for the Delta Smelt in California. Water for fish; None for San Joaquin Valley farmers. Congress can print money, but can't turn on the pumps!!
