Out of curiosity...what types of loads would require an all wood floor

years ago whe I was leased to falcon I was able to get one of several loads that went out every week from b-ham al to chicago il, because I had a wooden floor. why because the load was railroad wheels & they would not load on anything but wooden floor cause the steel wheels on aluminum floor made for a very slippery load. I think you could picture the difference & how less chance you would have of the wheels shifting on a wood floor.

can be had at any truck pro stores, or most truck parts stores. $22. 25.00 be sure & get the steel retaining lock ring that goes with it. ithe disk will be black & look like a huge ole type record album. :lol: no grease is to be used with it on either side.

They are a pain in the ass to put on. You need the top off a welding cylinder to put the ring on.

not for me.. just a couple hits with a hammer & it's on. I never had a problem putting those on.
