That is a nice looking cabover, Heavy Duty. It looks just like a 379. :P

I know I've said this before, but sometimes I wouldn't mind going old school in a nice simple cabover like that. Then again I'm a big wuss, and like all the creature comforts of my truck  .

That ol Freightliner COE is what I drove back in '79 in Colorado.....that manual steering sure was fun to try to crank at slow speed.
Anybody remember seeing Trans Alaska (Seafood) trucks? We ran all over the inter-mountain states....frozen seafood.

PS: I think I like your latest truck better Nice looking paint job too.

I like those fenders a lot better than the originals. Now all you have to do is take that sleeper off the back and put a factory sleeper on it, which would look real nice with a long wheelbase. At great sacrifice to me, I will offer to do an even swap - mine for yours. I will even throw the wing and the generator in at no charge.

making a little more progress, I asked them to hurry, my wife is still finding me things to do, I am getting well acquainted with the lawn mower and weed eater, did find a nice digital volt meter in the attic left by the cable guy 6 mo. ago, I refuse to set on hold for 30 min to inform them of the find.

Rev I'm thinking about a 30 inch flat top because cool is more important than comfort

Old fenders

New fenders

Looks good Heavy, hope it all turns out for you.

I saw a set front fenders on a 379 the other day that had a centerline crease facing upward, I can't find a pic now, I'll see if I can find one later, it looked pretty cool though.
