making some changes to my truck(keeping up with the Rev)

Thought I could become famous like the Rev. so I sent the truck to the shop for some new fenders and paint. Ah the price of fame.

WOW - you turned a Freightliner cabover into a Peterbilt conventional. You win. My hat is off to you.

That must have been some primer coat.

They put 2 gallons of white and 2 gallons of clear on Friday, second color on Monday, maybe a finished picture on Thursday.
The freightliner is setting in front of the same bay they are painting my Pete in 30 years later. You have to admit the FL was quite a truck in it's day, 1972, 86 inch cab, 30 inch bunk, 350 cummins, 13 speed, am radio, spring ride, manual steering, and AC.

Maybe I can get one of those AC units for my truck.....

Heavy Duty 07-13-2008 03:00 AM

Those were good simple AC units, roof mount with elect fans for the condenser, no extra heat from the ac into the radiator, plus the truck had shutters on the radiator which could cause a conflict.

If you want your truck to look like Rev's, don't you need to hunt down a deer with your truck first?
