Rev, in dealing with permits, clearances and electronic BOL most of them do not scan to email.This is why I leave that option open in recieving such documents.

Gee I only give them 23% and spent $20 on faxes last year, maybe with the money I saved on faxes I'll be able to get my own authority and get 100% of something. Then I will be a real O/O and make the big money.

Probably will, don't think I want to take a cut in pay. Besides I don't know how to run a trucking business anyway. Remember I am not a real O/O just a leased operator.

If I only have one page to send I just grabed a pilot mag. and use the one free page coupon. I use myfax. But now withmy new phone I can scan to computer and transfer it to phone then send an upload to most brokers that except copies of BOLs.

E-fax is good enough for me.Also ,like others mentioned ,emailing is much better and FREE. I have it set up to my blackberry phone and i get instantly whenever I'm at: truck,restaurant,etc. But really,the truckstop faxing is a big joke where they charge you a lot of money for faxing.
