I have got some time to play with, but I would like to put a sleeper on my truck, because it is so hard to find the right truck. I know what I've got and it has treated me well. (Knock on wood) I want to avoid the process of working out the kinks on another truck with a sleeper.

Steve, you are correct, but I still tell the bleeding heart story sometimes to get a reaction.

Won't most "Uni-built" sleepers, like what Paccar uses, work with that Classic? Seems that is what I see most, on the Classics, when it comes to removeable sleepers.

On my way to Utah and stopped for the day at the TA in PA. Gotta a nice ring to it. I'm planning on intercepting BanditJerk half way on his trip back down. I know he doesn't read my thread so don't anyone tell him I'm coming.

I loaded up in Maine and I was about 1 mile from the pickup point at a stop light and some guy is yelling, CLASS A, CLASS A. Finally I turn to him and say, yes, I have a class A. Then he says, no no, CAD forum, I read your posts every day. Oh ok, this guy is not retarded. He follows me into the customer site and talk for quit some time. Nice guy, doesn't post. One of those silent people ya know. Maybe he'll post a note and say hello.

Got a call from C.H. Robinson corporate office today. Seems I caused quit the stir talking to the big shots in that company I was suppose to pick a load up but was canceled.

I invoiced the shipper for my time along with a letter explaining what I planned to do if C.H. didn't pay up. I also told them they were planning on keeping $100 of the $250 that the customer pays for TONU.

C.H. was BS that I actually talked to management there. I told them I was not going to lay down and die. I would cause as much trouble as possible and this was only the start. How dare you try to keep all the $250 then try and buy me off with $150 when the customer pays $250 that is suppose to go to the driver.

I told her I expected a rate conformation on the TONU.

I ended to conversation with, oh, by the way, I'm hauling a load for you guys right now. :twisted:
