I think I've seen some of the T/S running specials in the neighborhood of $200 per axle installed...but don't quote me on that.

I don't know how much they cost, but i have them (on the truck when I bought it). I got 200K out of my steers, and I had 40K miles EASILY left on them. They pay for themselves, no doubt.

i have four of them, somewheres i think. would service two axles. picked them up when i was helping a friend clean out his shop. i drive off-road too much to use them. i've also seen them pretty cheap on e-bay.

It's been a long time since I had my Centramatics installed, but if I remember correctly, I think it was in the neighborhood of $700 to do the entire tractor (all three axles, both sides)

Wow, I guess my memory isn't all that bad. I think mine ran a little bit more because I had them rotate all my tires at the same time.

I have centramatics, the theory seems sound. I also added Cat's Eyes when I had my new drives put on. It sure makes tire checks alot more efficient.
