Who do you use ? Been a long time since I was on the road. Running mostly SE. Is Wi-Fi good enough or do you use wireless internet card. Mostly using for breakdowns, load boards, maybe faxing.

A search here will provide more info but the short of it is forget Wi-Fi, cellular air cars are the way to go. Verizon and Sprint seem to be the best. I had a Sprint air card but their non English speaking customer service is terrible. I switched cell service to Verizon and also got a USB style aircard and it has been wonderful. There's only been a couple occasions where I had service but it wasn't fast enough to do anything. $50-$60 seems to be the norm cost wise. Worth every penny to me as much as I use it. 8) 8)

I think I've used Wi-Fi 2 times in the past 3 years or so. I'll stick with my Sprint aircard.

Sprint>Verizon
Sprint is truly unlimited, while Verizon is not.Ask me how I know

Personally I've never had any experience with the TMobile. So, I can't say whether it's good/bad or ugly.

ATT (formerly Cincular), unlimited, $60 a month. Never had problems with it. Everywhere Ive been Ive had a cell signal. Some areas especially the Metros will have 3G (near Broadband speed).
WiFi...is to limited on where you can get a signal. Wireless is the way to go for the mobile. Im kind of suspecting that all the major names in Wireless are virtually the same for service and price. BTW...I had to call customer service one time to ask a question. He spoke english (unaccented) and was very helpful.

I have a friend who uses T-Mobile. He seems to like it. I think their pricing is less than Sprint and the others. |
