What happened to GMAN?

That is NO excuse for not posting. Millions of people wanted to buy trucks and lease to Werner, go lease a truck from England, get their own authority and have never shifted a gear, or wonder where to get freight except for getloaded.com. You let them down.
Just kidding, hope it heals up quickly. We missed ya.

Gman,
Hope your injury heals quickly. Your constructive and rationale posts based on years of both business and trucking experience are sorely missed here. Take care and best wishes professor427

Thanks for all of your concerns. It is always more difficult when something happens on the road. At least it was my right leg rather than my clutch leg. There is still considerable swelling, so it appears that it will take some time to heal. I can function, but at a slower pace.

Last time I talked to you, you were on your way out to Cali? Thanks for the tip on those nursery tarps. The guy had them in stock. 179 plus tax. Hope you heal soon.

Unfortunately, hoohaa, that is exactly what happened. I was standing on the catwalk watching the forklift operator instead of where I was stepping. I put my foot between the frame and fairing. I pulled my back and hurt my leg from near the pelvis all the way down to my foot. My leg swelled up about 1 1/2 times normal. I am trying to stay off of it as much as possible. It actually happened in California the day before I picked up my truck.
I am glad the guy had those nursery tarps. I hope you are staying busy and getting decent rates.

I am glad the guy had those nursery tarps. I hope you are staying busy and getting decent rates. The reason I asked, because I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Fortunatly I was able to get my right foot off in time, and I just fell on the ground, without my foot getting cought Last year I did the same thing, and fell on my back on gravel.. THAT HURT!! Yes 'm very busy now, and the rates are coming up as well. Also brokers seem to be in need, so I can pretty much up the price that they are offering.

I am glad that you didn't get hurt with your mishap. A friend of mine did the same thing, but his foot hit the drive shaft. It has been about 2 weeks since my incident and I still have a lot of swelling and bruising. A section on my leg just above my knee that is about 6" long and stands about 3-4'' high. It looks as though I have a balloon underneath my skin.
