Default Lease From A Carrier? - Not

I have been doing research on this, and I found this article which says it all, I guess:

Good article shebear,
I remember when I was at Stevens back in 99, they had the shiney T-2000's and T-600's right up near the orientation building. They pushed thier lease program every day to the company recruits, and when I flat out asked them to put their numbers down on paper,..they refused. It was all smoke and mirrors, and I doubt there are any who are still in that program.

Haha, yep, was there in 2000 and my trainer had a Fleece Purchase T2000 and he had to turn his truck in before he even finished training me
because he wasn't making jack.

A guy had asked about this back in school and the funny thing about it was the response the trainer gave. He said, you know what I would do if I had my own truck, sell it. You had to laugh. But that story is about what he said. Not that one couldn't pull it off, but that it took all of his free time off to keep it going. I've heard of too many bad things about leasing and not getting enough work to make it pay off for you.
