Default Trucker News and Overdrive magazine needs input

The Trucker News magazine will have an article in the March issue with GMAN and myself who provided material on flatbed securement. GMAN from an experienced trucker and me as a new person.

The senior editor has asked me to post a message with a request for input from other drivers for an upcoming issue. If you have first hand experience with the following items please email the editor directly.

Another quick question for an Overdrive story: wondering if you or anyone you know has a fuel-fired heater in the cab such as the ones made by Espar and Webasto or has installed one of the group 31 battery-based APU systems? I'm looking for some real-world info on these for an upcoming story.

My system is out of reach for any driver who is concerned about weight. I'm sure he is talking about the Blue-Cool Webasto system,....not 600lbs of batteries run through a 3,000watt inverter, charged up by 250lbs of solar panels on my roof and the truck alternator.

I have both a fuel fired bunk heater (Webasto), and a battery based auxilliary power system (Xantrex and Optima).

Steve,

You should interview Rev for the magazine. And sell tickets.
