The best one is the one you don't have to pay the fuel costs for.

When I pulled a flat with my w900 I got around 5.8 to 6.0..475 turned up to a 550 13 speed 3.55 rears and tall 24.5 rubber....it had a few tweaks done to it and would pull to 2400 rpm (e model cat) and rarely fussed about anything I put behind it....I started doing hhg and it dropped to about 5.4 mpg runnong less than 70k lbs the majority of the time due to the wind resistance..but I agree the best truck is the one you pay no expenses for

Get your CDL first, get a job, get 5 years of experience, have good credit, and have money in the bank.

When all of that is done, then we will help you in spec'ng a truck out.
