doghouse.. i have a 11.1 det 365 horse. it passed 1 mil mi long ago & still going without a rebuild of any kind. it still has original clutch, trans rears e.t.c. i dont have a lot of power or top end, but after driving same truck over 8 years & no major repairs ever, i'm happy

It's a good running engine, spins right up nice and tight, and has all the oil leaks a good detroit should have 8)
As far as top end,..well,...lets hope none of you get behind me on a hilly 2 lane :sad:

Sure heavy,....let'em all be mad at me,....its OK, I like to get in behind a slow vehicle sometimes anyway,..it takes the pressure of when I want to run slow.
I usually run at 62mph on the interstates, and I try to do 55 when it says 55, but sometimes a bit slower. Hey, what do ya want,....I carry my bathroom/kitchen with me 8) I'm in no hurry. |
