Hang in there man, hang in there!!!
I'm still finishing up the cabinets/trim and the graphics for my logo.
The trailer is in Ohio, a Ravens 48/102-w-bulkhead.
I'm on Get loaded and Real time freight, signed up and studying the freight rates and stuff . I should be ready for my first run in a couple of weeks.
I can't wait to go out, I took the truck out a few days ago and went for a 100 mile test drive to see how things were (since its the first time I really got to drive it) there's tranny pieces all over St Pete right now (gotta learn that shifting crap all over again).

So very soon, its bad hoodoo  to take photos of it when its not finished  .

It took me a while before I could shift my truck without grinding the gears. I pretty much have it down pat except when I get rushed and still learning to forgot the other people and they will just have to wait.

Did you get all your load securment stuff yet? I ordered all mine from www.truckntow.com

I'm shopping around for the load securing supplies. I am leaning toward Zamzow because the one guy knocked $300 off the aluminum boxes I just bought.
I have had some bad luck with my deliveries,...UPS has damaged 2 inverters in a row on me.
They lost another package, and I'm still waiting for the slugs at A-Trans to send me a new box for the APU.
But I'm finally getting the hang of the shifting again. Seems I'm better without the clutch,....or maybe because the tranny has 925,000 miles on it,....It just doesn't need a clutch.

When I ordered all my stuff it was delivered by Yellow. I wasn't home but someone said it took the guy an hour to unload it. He was in a big truck and all the stuff was in a heavy duty cardboard barrel. He had to empty the barrel then bring each piece to my door step and fill the barrel back up.

Your lucky, some drivers would have put "refused by customer" and sent it back. Not that Iiiiiiii would ever do that. No Sir not me.

Its funny, you can tell when a driver likes his job. I've had deliveries that were done so well that I couldn't believe it,.....and then there's UPS & Southeast freight, their guys are not real happy to do there thing.

nice buy at 9k...have an engine rebuild and a tranny rebuild some time, and you would be paying probably the same price at a dealer (for a comparable tractor) without having the repairs.......you however would have almost a new tractor for all intensive purposes.

Hey Pepe, good to hear from you,....Steve's been looking for you, will you call him and tell him your OK 8) ?
As far as a rebuild, it already had an inframe 125,000 miles ago, and a clutch as well.
Good thing about this truck was that all it hauled was a 5 car trailer, and some FEMA trailers (has a pintle as well). It runs real good.strong and clean for 365hp, but then again, I'm in no hurry so it should be fine.
