I know the mile are a little high for a dump but other than that I don't see anything wrong with it.

Barnhill Contracting around here has 250+ trucks and runs Cat C9 (I think) at 300HP with Allison<sp> autos and you don't see there trucks get around pretty good.

the 5500i is that more like the light duty truck?? the paystar and the 5900i is the more heavy duty modeal aint they. for dump trucks. Just go with a MACK

I just don't get why so many guys think they have to have these big o'l 500hp + engines to haul dirt around. Sure I'm slower when I pull a hill then those guys, but I end up at the job site just the same.
