So let me see if I got this right......

1) L/O with Arrow
2) bought one truck leased to Diamond
3) bought a second truck
4) bought a boat
5) running your own authority

all within a couple of months.....is that correct? If so, WOW!!!! You all must be doing something right.

Ya, I talked to the bum yesterday. He worked 6 hours and was now sitting on his yacht drinking beer while Tootie of course was in the kitchen making him his favorite food like a good woman should.

Looks like a good week so far.....2000.00 + for 7 loads of logs. We only got one load today and managed to get loaded for one load tomorrow. It is raining and the road to the woods is really BAD!!

We have learned alot this past week about logs. This is a pretty tight group but they are willing to welcome and help out a new comer.

we have one load we take 100 miles and it pays 350.00, I have been looking for a "back haul" of sorts so we dont have to come back empty and got a lead this evening for one that pays 200.00 coming back.

We got our NC tags and ins the cost was 1600.00 that was for 900.00 down payment on ins (3500.00 per yr) and 615.00 for the tags (the first payment) the other 615.00 is drafted from out checking account in 6 months by NC. So yes we have our authority (intrastate NC)

I like the fact when you get to the mills you are unloaded right away!! No waiting around.

Well got to go....got to get up early in the morning. TGIF!!

You can always slap that boat of yours into Grand Lake and have your shrimp flown in. And NC BBQ is nasty.

Well, gearing up for next work week.

We made 2500.00 last week and only used 1/2 tanks of fuel!! 8) So fuel cost about 400.00 We are only about 29 miles from the mill so this week will be another a$$ kicking week!!

We have decided to rent a house down here....the boat is getting too small for me!! I want to get my business going for the fall season.

Will update next week 8) 8)

How are you pulling logs on an RGN anyway? You securing them like pipe? I bid on a log job a few weeks ago and that's how I was planning to do it. :?

Tootie....
You don't need a house, you need a bigger boat
