Had just an AWFUL Monday!! We got to MO to unload this morning...due to miscommunication we didnt get our MO permits till this AM. Anyway we get to the tractor place and they inform us the tractor we are supposed to load there is not ready. Not ready till the end of the week!!

So we drive up to the Pilot at exit 19 on 55 in MO and here we sit. At 4:30 pm we get a phone call to call this guy in KY about some sort of tractor that was to go to IL. OK so I call the guy....he says I havent seen that thing in over a year....I dont even know if it runs....you can try to jump it off and maybe get it loded that way. Oh and I dont know how to tell you how to get here. We live in the boonies  ya know!! OK....well we are NOT going there. So here we sit.....waiting till morning.

I get on the internet and try to send a fax. we were hooked up to efax and got 3 faxes from them then they cancelled us!!  They said they could not verify our home phone number.....hmmm we are not home DUH!!! So told them where to go and how to get there and signed up with a different fax provider....we will see how this goes.

Now I am trying to get my email to work with outlook express and had to upgrade our yahoo account so i could link it up.

This day was REALLY BAD!!

Bo is on his way to the boonies with the tree man to "find" the machine and see HOW to get a truck in to it....I stayed here in town with the truck....I hope he comes back.... :? He told me if he does not return "everything is mine".... I said no it isnt....it belong to the bank!!

Having problems with the other truck too.....will post on that issue later. But I know I was right we only needed ONE truck!!

Bo came back about 1 hour later....with a few bee stings  The old machine was up in the woods where no truck dare go with an RGN on the back!! so he drove it 6 miles to an intersection and then came and got me and we loaded it there at the intersection. We delived the junk the next day in IL then headed up to IA and loaded two JD loaders and headed home.

We got home Friday and the other truck was here so we sent him to OKC and Amarillo to delver the loaders. 8)

we stayed home and worked on the truck  It took 8 hours to put shocks on this BEAST!!  I was not cut out to be a truck mechanic!! I hurt my knee somehow and now cant hardly walk!!  getting old I guess.....

I will update more later....after coffee and breakfast

You poor thing. You should be sitting at home on the couch with the afghan, a cup of tea, laptop, phone and try dispatching for a while. You deserve a break from bees, grease, shocks and the rough life on the road.

They replaced my front shocks and there is no way I could have done it myself. They used a huge impact wrench on the bolts for up to a few minutes and it wouldn't turn the bolt. They ended up heating the bolt with a torch before it would break free. Took them 5 minutes to put the new ones on.

Well we left the house on Monday morning and got up to Grand Island at about 3pm. We got our combine on and then messed around at the Bossleman truckstop the rest of the day. Our other truck was there and a couple of other diamond friends were there too. Too much good company to leave i guess!! 8)

We left Tuesday morning and got here in Bunkie LA at about 10am today. We are getting unloaded now and are going to the other side of town and pick up 2 signs and take them 58 miles down to Lafayette LA and drop them off for $500.00 To bad we cant do that all day everyday!!

I dont know where we will go from LA.....our fearless leader at diamond is MIA today  so hopefully he will be back in the morning.

Well better go for now.

Well we picked up and delivered our little 50 mile run.....that was an easy 500.00  we didnt get down to lafayette in time to unload on thursday so we went out to exit 115 and had a crawldad FEAST 8) 8) Then we went and found a quiet hole and crawled in till morning.

Friday morn we delivered our McDonalds arches (all 400lbs) then back to the TA to wait for dispatch.

About 8am the freight gods tell us to head to Deridder LA for a load to Janesville WI.....so off we go.

I have to upload some pics then I will be back....the next two days were interesting to say the least!! 8)
