we left Baltimore Tuesday morn and drove to NC and are taking some R&R on the boat.....we really do NOT want to leave. We will be coming out tomorrow though and loading in Wilmington, I think.

It is so peaceful here, no cell phones.....no internet till today!! 8) I finally figured the wifi part out....never had to use it before.

The first night on the boat was stormy and LOTS of rain, but we stayed dry. I have not slept good but Bo sleeps like a baby!! I dont sleep anyway. we have been on the boat so much I feel like I am still moving when we are out walking around town.

I think this is a perfect town for my business....and Bo wants to check into local work, to see what is available. I have wrote a bunch of numbers down to call when we get back out to civilization.

I would not mind baltimore in the summer but the winters STINK!! Too cold for me....

The people 2 boats up have a motor boat and they are an older couple....we have been trying to strike conversations with them but to no avail....They came out this evening and turned their chairs AWAY from us...Oh well, guess we just are not their type of people :? Cant say we didnt try....

The people at the end of the dock have a 300,000 Nordic tug and they talked to us for a while and the people with the 500,000 yacht talked to us too for a while, then then the ones in the Nordic invited the ones in the Yacht over for dinner so we excused ourselves and came back to the boat...I guess we stink or something. :? ...Maybe it is that big green KW parked in the driveway??!! :wink:

I have learned not to care what other people think anymore....Maybe all our trucker friends from CAD need to stop by and we will ahve a BIG crab feed....we will show em what fun really is!! :wink:

There are snobs in boating no doubt about it. I bet Balt is really bad and Annapolis probably worse. Screw them. Their loss.

Wait 'till they have a problem with their diesel and see how they like the truck drivers.
