No, that's for $100,000 coverage. 1 million would be for liability. I go through a local broker in New Hampshire. I checked a while ago for Pepe and you need to live here to get coverage. We have pretty low rates for just about everything. I have full coverage for my $25,000 Harley for year round insurance for $600 to give an example. Not sure why it would matter with a truck since you drive all over the U.S.

Reason be due to Insurance Laws. A Insurance agent can not sell policys for a different State that they are not liecneds for. Steve is from thereso he can, but Pepe is from the other side of the country, against the law. SC Policies are higher than Georgia's People would come to Georgia but refused cause they live in SC, not Ga. All because governing Laws. If they were a national Agent then it would been different.

New Hampshire is a Nice State. If it was not for all the Snow, and High cost of Houses, I would love to live there myself. Lived in Dover, and New Market. I was Stationed in New Castle 88-89 and again in 93-96. No Sales Tax what I liked.

Ya, some nimrod in the state pulled a fast one and got approval to put up some new signs when you enter the state. He replaced the Live Free or Die signs with "Your going to love it here". We all went nuts and people started spray painting all the signs with "Your going to love it here, OR DIE". They changed them back after that.

My My how things change in just a few days....Our house is going to sell it is a CASH deal!! 8) Also while we were in NC we went ahead and secured the boat.

The little town where the boat resides is really a wonderfu town. QUIET and clean!! I am also a soap and candle maker and there is NO shop in this little tourist town on the coast!! So I may be making an exit from the truck in the next few months till Christmas anyway....I think I can build a very profitable business there 8)

we are at the Pilot in Baytown TX waiting to unload in the morning.

The other truck is in Tulsa PARKED and it needs about 10,000 worth of repairs.....I need not say more....you guys know what happened!!

Will write more later on that subject....

We loaded yesterday for Calgary Alberta Cananda. I have never been to Cananda except niagra Falls so I am kinda excited. Bo HATES going up there....he hates the BS of border crossing. So this may be my only chance to get to Cananda for a while.

Our gross weight is 85,000 so we are VERY heavy. I hope the little detroit hangs in there OK.

the rate is good but it ramains to be seen how much DH we will have getting back to get aload.....then we will see how good the rate really was!!

Cant wait to get back to the coast and spend a few MUCH needed days on the boat!! We plan on being in more often now even if we need to change carriers to do it.

Anyone know of a good 100% O/O company that runs mainly East coast??

we amet a couple of really nice truckers from calgary last night. we sat up talking to them till like 10:30 they were really helpful....they knew right where we were going and gave us directions. Those guys were really cool 8)

I found my camera!!!!  it was hiding down behind the printer. I tore the truck apart yesterday in a last ditch attempt to find it.
