I don't mind the posting's by SteveBooth. He listens to my advice, even when its wrong.
One of the ONLY people to take what I had seriously (about insurance), so I would continue to give him advice. I haven't labeled him 'hobby trucker' yet

That is why he is a bad example for others, as he isn't worried (as much) about how he runs the business. That is why he is going to do it "his way", and the rules and regulations be damned.

It's free enterprise. He can run for whatever price he feels.

Rev, I have been away a while, so you must excuse me. From what I hear on the phone, he's a hobby trucker. The ship hasn't sailed yet though, if you ask me.
Still, the loads for $1.40 need to quit.

I would love to continue reading his stories and see his pics, very interesting. I also feel the above comment is true though, sadly. Keep it coming Steve. You got balls that is for sure. Do not let the naysayers disuade you. And as for their pathetic arguement that your exploits will encourage any newbies out there to attempt to duplicate it let them try. IF they do their homework, make preparations and have the pre-existing financial security that you do. If they do not...well....they deserve what they get. If the have not gleaned enough knowledge and advice from our learned naysayers (who are actually quite correct most of the time, albeit in a negative, condescending and sometimes derogatory tone) and attempt to copy your feat without being equally (or better!!) prepared they are setting themselves up for disaster!!! Perhaps Steve should have a disclaimer for a signature line...."Kids, don't try this at home!!!"

I think Steve is a valuable poster to this site and even though he is new to driving himself he has alot to offer to other drivers that are willing to learn and want to follow Steve's venture. To many posters on here fall under the "I'm sorry I bring nothing to the table" category and are only here because they have nothing better to do in their lives than criticize other people. I say keep it coming Steve!

I'm a big fan also, but I would like to see this go to a blog site. That way I wouldn't have to listen to all the negative chatter going on here. I can't believe all the people here that are Super Truckers and never had to learn anything about trucking!
