Doesn't really make any difference any more. I've deleted all my posts from this topic. I only wanted to share with everyone my experiences with regards to getting my CDL, authority and heading out on my own. I have got nothing but criticism from a bunch of people in here who do nothing but bring down every single topic in this forum.
So, I'll still stay on but as far as sharing my thoughts, no more.

I enjoyed reading this thread and looked forward to reading more once you "got on the road". Also kind of liked reading the banter back and forth. Sorry you felt you needed to take the route of the kid who takes his ball home if the game doesn't go his way. best of luck though

Steve, I for one enjoy your post. You are taking a completly different approach than I. I am going the traditional route by going to school, and working as a company driver. I don't know if I will ever want to be an O/O. I did something very similuar to what you are doing except I was a gunmith. I learned a lot on my own, sometimes I wish I had apprenticed with someone first. I encourage you to continue your posts. Don't listen to the negativity posted by some. I'm willing to bet there are far more interested in your post, that never post, than those who are against you.

I'll join in with the ego stroking that Steve is looking for, and say that your posts are well worth being here.
If anything, they give information about how to obtain your authority. Your attitude about people who know more than you about the business, that's another story.

Yes it is a shame, I was reading the posts with interest. Very informative. Sometimes a little skepticism can be good to make sure you check that your stuff is squared away. I do wish you all the best.
