judging by your purchases thus far i`m gonna go out on a limb and assume you can afford an APU, take a look at them.

it`ll keep the truck warm in the winter and cool in the summer, keep the block warm for easy starts and less wear and tear, not to mention save ya anywhere from 20-35$ a night in fuel.

If you're using the A/C in the winter, you are by far a bigger man than I. I have no problem with my heater keepng up during the winter, infact I drive alot with my drivers window cracked a bit b/c I will get to sweating if I don't.

Damn, then you would play hell in Tx. during the summer time then! lol. I'm sitting here in Joplin, Mo. right now, and it is VERY comfortable with the truck off. It's starting to get a LOT cooler, I can say that! Can't wait for the winter to get here and some of the white stuff to hit the ground (as dirty as that sounded) b/c I've had enough heat for this year!

Steve,
My husband I and really enjoy your posts. It's like reading a book, a little drama, a little comedy, heck you even have some horror thrown in there.

Looking forward to the chapter on your first load
