There are "Good Freight Brokers"??
From my experience as a Company Driver since late 1999, I NEVER heard about a "Good Broker".
I've only heard about the BAD Brokers yet I was always paid as a Company Driver.
In the old days, Freight Brokers would simply shut down operations when they had screwed over a certain allotment of Truckers (maybe $100,000 to $500,000 in claims) then reopen under another name yet, a lot of the times, at the same address and a new phone number.
The "new rules" for Brokers having to have a certain Liability amount might have altered such practice yet most Brokers represent the past practices.
Freight Brokers usually just leave Clients (You), BROKE, hence the term BROKEr.
