I loved the part of seeing new things, but I quickly found out most of what you see are road signs telling you what you COULD see if you drove a car and have $$$, something most drivers have a shortage of! It also didn't take to long to miss the friends and family, that sinks in when you get a call from family and everones together haveing a good time and your sitting waiting. Speaking of waiting drivers seem to do alot of in between the hurry up part.
But even with all that I don't regret getting my CDL and driveing.
I now work alot of hrs but home daily and weekends off, good gigs are out thereYOU JUST HAVE TO FIND ONE. BOL!

it takes a sprecial breed of person to drive a large car. truckings not for everyone. deaqling with the 4 wheelers that just pull out in front of you to the urine filled truck stops dirty showers the revanue rangers crappy truck stop food being held up at shippers dealing with pan handlers going into a strange place and take a chance of getting held up or killed sleeping in a truck you can't idle in the heat taking a chance of getting heat stroke or having a heart attack oh and can't forget them lot lizzard figures lmao. do you have family?? if your married and have a family stay out of trucking as you will need to be out for extended periods of time to make money. dealing with all the rules and regs. don't let us scare you go for it and try it out and see if it fits you.

try seeping next to a reefer unit or some driver that decides to fire up his porable gen set. try sleeping in a huddle house and someone crashes into your large car or trailer. try going to the highway and some a hole tears your mirror off!! have we got our point across yet??
